Business Training On-site
It is possible for the DLC to offer employees 'on their job
site' training. The areas that could be covered include basic skills (literacy and numeracy) and ICT.
For larger companies, the DLC is able to train your own trainers to deliver bespoke courses on-line.
The benefits to the employer are that the employee does not have to leave their desk and simply undertakes a 45 min training
session then returns to their work.
This means no job backlog with the attendant risk of lost orders and a more highly trained and effective workforce.
The benefits to the employee are mirrored in the above with the added benefit of no, often long, journey to a central
training venue.
