Learners
The Digital Learning Community services the needs of learners of all ages, backgrounds and locations via a range of electronic communication media.

Learners

LearnLinc and Adobe Connect are used to enable learners to take part in live interactive sessions, with real time verbal communication.

A VLE (virtual learning environment) is used to provide additional activities.

Instant messaging, message boards and emails will also be part of the range of methods used to support the activities.

The services of the DLC can be received in the workplace or at home over the World Wide Web, or via existing broadband services in many public access points around the county, including public libraries and in local schools.
