This 'tool kit' is intended to
provide everything you require to set up a user in order to access lessons
from the DLC and will guide you to download and install different players and viewers required to access content from the website.
You are able to find out how to correctly install the software, download
and install the actual program, and when you are ready to begin learning
you can access our digital learning software training manuals.

The following section will guide you to download and install different players and viewers required to access content from the
DLC website, and take part in lessons, for FREE.
Macromedia Flash Player
Flash is used to create cool animations and graphics on websites and
it's really easy to download. If you have already downloaded the Shockwave
Plug-in, it will have included the Flash Player as well. The Flash site
is very clever and can tell which system and which browser you are using
to look at its site!
Go to the Flash
Player Download Centre.
If you are using Internet Explorer all you need to do is click
on the Install Now Button.
Click through any dialog boxes that appear and Flash will be installed
automatically onto your computer.
If you are using Netscape - you will need to click on the Download
Now button, as shown below.
A box will appear asking you where to save the Installer.
Save the Installer to your desktop and wait for it to download completely.
An Installer icon will appear on your desktop. Double-click it.
You will have to read and click through the dialog boxes.
When the "Install" button appears, click it to install Macromedia
Flash Player into your browser's plug-ins folder.
Your web browser will launch a new window. When you see the Macromedia
Flash Player movie playing, the installation is successful.

It can be used for video file conversion. It is this popular because
it looks great, it uses absolutely minimal CPU and memory, it
runs on all of the platforms out there, it supports high-end features
like 5.1 audio and pixel shaders, and has a run-time API.
